Race For Good 2025
Event on 20 September 2025
The Race For Good 2025 marks the 3rd edition of our annual philanthrophic sporting event and took place on Saturday, 20 September 2025. Our third edition was held at Punggol Digital District through Coney Island, holding great significance as we celebrate our 90th Anniversary; a milestone commemorating our service to the vulnerable in Singapore since 1935.
Over 1,500 participants joined the 5km, 10km and 21.1km categories and attended our family event, Festival For Good.
The generous support from our valued partners and participants gave heart and meaning to Race For Good 2025, fueling long-term support for our beneficiaries through our social services and initiatives. With their support, we raised over $320,000 in donations this year. These funds go directly towards programmes that transform the lives of the vulnerable in Singapore, including Children and Youth, The Elderly, Ex-Offenders and their families, as well as our Migrant Brothers and Sisters, empowering them with hope and dignity for brighter days.
We were honoured to have Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr. Gan Kim Yong grace Race For Good 2025 as our Guest of Honour, championing the philanthropic causes The Salvation Army stands for and inspiring the community to come together for meaningful purpose.
Thanks to the unwavering support of our volunteers, donors, and corporate partners, we were able to achieve and sustain tangible impact across the communities we serve:
70% of children and youth discharged from 2021 to 2024 were successfully reunited with their families within two years.
85% of our elderly residents with dementia showed improvement in assisted daily living.
Over 12,000 migrant workers benefited from our mental wellness programmes.
Over 300 ex-offenders received support for practical needs, job matching, and upskilling programmes.
Festival For Good kicked off with great energy as booths offered refreshments such as bubble tea and chicken burgers, bouncy castles for our little ones and soft tissue massages were available for our racers post-run. Magic shows and acapella and dance performances also kept all ages entertained.
