The Salvation Army held our first on-site Red Shield Appeal Event on 22 July 2022 after a 2-year hiatus, that was brought about by the pandemic. “Growing Stronger Together” was the theme for the luncheon where we envision a future when beneficiaries will become stronger with the help of donors and supporters who share our commitment in transforming lives.

Our Guest-of-Honour, Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development, Second Minister for Health and Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, thanked The Salvation Army for our commitment to build better lives for various vulnerable groups in Singapore.

During the event, The Salvation Army highlighted our work on reuniting and strengthening families under our children and youth group, children and families impacted by incarceration, former inmates, struggling families, people living with dementia, the elderly and also on how we care for migrant workers. We would like to express our appreciation to everyone who came and contributed to our work of empowering those in need through our wide range of causes.
