The Salvation Army Charity Dinner 2022

We wish to thank those who joined us at our Charity Dinner on 21 October 2022, at the Singapore Island Country Club. Located in the midst of a verdant nature reserve, the serene dinner venue was the perfect location to appreciate the delicious fine cuisine and exciting line-up of performances that were curated for the evening.

Various items were also on auction, and the proceeds raised will go a long way towards meeting the needs of our local community. Once again, thank you for your continued support!

Sauteed Scallop with Garden Green in XO Sauce

At The Salvation Army, we serve the vulnerable children, elderly, migrant workers and children of incarcerated parents who may fall through the cracks.

This meaningful 8-course dinner is a chance to dine amidst the backdrop of a beautiful golf course. The delectable dishes are freshly prepared by the Singapore Island Country Club’s own Chinese kitchen. Guests can also enjoy our captivating musical soiree from our choir and band. There will be an auction which will help raise funds for the needy we serve .


Nanyang Primary School Choir

Students from Nanyang Primary School (NYPS), will be performing songs like “You Would Be Found” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”. The Choral Director, Mrs Kwek-Puah Hwee Khee, has almost two decades of experience in conducting school and community choirs.

At the Hong Kong Winter Choral Festival 2016, the NYPS choir was accorded the Special Jury prize for Artistic Expression.


Singapore Central Corps Brass Band

The Salvation Army Singapore Central Corps Brass Band comprises church members who regularly volunteer their time and talent to spread the love of Christ through music.

Other than supporting the Sunday worship services, the band has been invited to perform at various venues, from Christmas events at Gardens by the Bay to serenading residents at Peacehaven during the festive season. The band has also performed in Malaysia to support the work of The Salvation Army there.
